Short-Term Accommodation

Short-term accommodation is support for when you need to live out of home for a short period. It can be used in a variety of situations, including respite, emergency, or hospital recovery.

Sometimes, a short stay away from home could be a great way to try your hand at new things. It could also be extremely helpful if you are looking to meet new people and make friends. Sometimes, your caregiver at home may also need a break. A short-term accommodation could help you maintain your current living situation. It is also an excellent way to increase your independence as your transition to Support Independent Living. Short-term accommodations could also help you get a taste of independent living before you return to your family home.
